Paper Presentation

Goal

Lead a 20–30 minute research discussion on a paper related to software design, patterns, smells, refactoring, or automation.

Required slides / sections

• research problem and gap;
• method/pipeline;
• dataset and oracle;
• baselines;
• principal results;
• one reconstructed table/figure or sanity check;
• threats to validity;
• two discussion questions;
• one proposed replication/extension.

Avoid

Do not spend most of the presentation rephrasing the introduction. The class should leave understanding how the evidence was produced.
