Lab 2 — Pattern Mining

Goal

Implement a small pattern detector for one pattern such as Strategy, Observer, Factory Method, Adapter, or Decorator.

Minimum detector

Combine at least two evidence types, for example:

• inheritance/interface structure;
• fields/associations;
• call relationships;
• constructor/factory calls;
• method names or lexical features.

Evaluation

Manually label at least 20 candidates or use a documented small oracle. Report false positives and explain which missing evidence caused them.
