Lab 3 — Smell Detection

Goal

Build or configure a detector for one design smell and investigate threshold sensitivity.

Tasks

• define the smell operationally;
• implement or configure at least two threshold settings;
• run on one or more subject systems;
• compare detected sets;
• manually inspect disagreements;
• discuss whether ranking is more useful than binary labeling.

Extension

Add change frequency or defect history as a prioritization signal.
