A1 — Principle-Driven Design Review

Task

Select a non-trivial module (roughly 500–3000 LOC, or an equivalent design slice). Produce a technical design review based on explicit principles.

Required analysis

  • module responsibilities and likely reasons for change;
  • dependency graph;
  • information-hiding assessment;
  • cohesion/coupling observations;
  • at least two SOLID/GRASP/component-principle arguments;
  • three change scenarios;
  • two alternative redesigns;
  • final recommendation with trade-offs.

Constraint

Do not score the design by counting principle “violations.” The goal is to explain consequences under concrete changes.
