Objective

Build evidence about correctness and maintainability for an existing implementation.

Required artifacts

1. Test strategy describing unit, integration, and system-level scope.
2. Automated tests for normal, boundary, and failure conditions.
3. Coverage report with interpretation—not only a percentage.
4. Static-analysis/lint results and resolution of selected findings.
5. Identification of at least three maintainability risks or code smells.
6. One refactoring protected by regression tests.
7. Short residual-risk section: what is still not adequately tested or assured?
