Intelligent Software Engineering Laboratory

The Intelligent Software Engineering Research Laboratory (ISERL) at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) advances the measurement and improvement of software process quality, software artifact quality, software testing, reverse engineering, and software evolution. Its work is organised across three areas: research, industry, and education.

Research focuses on program testing and debugging, software analysis, internal and external software quality assessment, reverse engineering and refactoring, and software methodologies. The laboratory hosts three active research groups:
